I was thrilled to have recently seen Michael De Paulo’s first-ever NYFW presentation at Agora Gallery in Chelsea. His collection was inspired by a modern-day Marie Antoinette motif, and it features a rich color palette of gray, black, white, amber, and red. I love his focus on detailing with geometric beading, feathers, sheerness, and shimmering. Each outfit is a sculpted masterpiece with textured fabrics and stunning silhouettes. Evening wear is definitely one of my favorite fashion styles so I would be ecstatic wearing any of the styles that range from sumptuous gowns to beaded pantsuits and mini dresses!
My favorite looks included a red plunging v gown with a beaded bodice, a gray beaded plunging v pantsuit, a black strapless gown with winged tips, a white plunging v beaded gown with a tulle skirt, and a black gown with a beaded architectural bodice. All of the looks exuded glamour, sexiness, and intrigue. I was blown away by the detail and beauty of this collection!
