SCOPE New York 2019: An impressive art destination

A few weeks ago, the 19th edition of SCOPE New York took place at Metropolitan Pavilion. SCOPE New York is the destination for contemporary artists and their pioneering work. 60 international exhibitors participated in the event such as local galleries as well as galleries from England, France, Russia, Netherlands, and more. I loved the assortment of art that included vibrant paintings, detailed photographs, unique sculptures, and innovative live art installations. It was a wonderful experience going through aisles and aisles of incredible work.

I was captivated by so many pieces at the show. Mike Stilkey had a book sculpture with a painting of a stunning woman. ShyGlo had a series of oil on canvas paintings of notable figures with hand blown neon lights. Hans van Bentem showcased a series of unique ceramic sculptures. Kevin Graham’s large scale aerial photography series was mind-blowing. Elise Cirillo showcased her beautiful “Who is She” art series with a variety of vibrant colors and detailed materials. Multiple exhibitors reported strong sales so the event was certainly successful.

Images of my favorite pieces are in my slideshow. Hope you enjoy them. Did you have any favorites? Let me know what you think. Looking forward to next year’s event!
