Impressive events during NYFW are always memorable. I like when an event surprises you with vibrant activations or inspiring messages. Here’s my final round-up for NYFW February 2020.
First , we have the Neon Coat New York Fashion Week Recharge Lounge with Gerber Group that took place at Mr. Purple. Guests enjoyed touchups with Avarelle and Glo Skin Beauty products, and manicures by Sundays. They also got to check out t-shirts by Tom Foolery and energy drinks from EBOOST. Mr. Purple provided lunch and ample seating. It was a great way to unwind and enjoy sweeping views of Manhattan!
Next, Jeff Wan presented his SS20 handbag collection at the Arlo SoHo Hotel. The collection is inspired by his trip to Italy, noted by its vibrant colors and its stylish designs. It features the Hillside Collection, handbags in a signature laser cut leather, and the new Lunch Box 11 in all-over crossgrain leather. The styles are all made in Italy. These handbags are beautiful and perfect for the individual who knows how to balance relaxation with getting things done. They’re also so lightweight, spacious, and statement-worthy. My favorites included the white and navy Hillside handbags and the pink and red Lunch Box 11 handbags. The collection is truly innovative and impressive!
Following this presentation, The Studio at Tractenberg hosted its seasonal NYFW Suite where pampering and unwinding took centerstage. This is definitely one of my favorite events during fashion week! Showcased brands included Color Street, TOCCA, Gülsha, Hairdo, Drybar, and Bioré. Other brands included Korres, Burt’s Bees, Lavanila, and more. Drybar was doing some glam dry styling and Color Street was offering polish nail strip applications. In addition, Eylure provided eyelash applications for guests and Gülsha offered relaxing applications of its facial products on the hand. I certainly enjoyed stopping by this invigorating suite between shows and presentations!
Last but not least, Boy Meets Girl x Roots debuted its collection at a presentation at Metropolitan West. The limited edition streetwear collection features 15 pieces that are unisex. The pieces include hoodies, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and a mini-me kids collection. Together, the two brands embrace three important values: Community, Integrity and Freedom. The pieces are modern, trendy, and unique with a positive message. What an inspiring collection!
Therefore, these impressive NYFW events were definitely noteworthy!
