NYFW was filled with eclectic experiences and notable moments. Here’s my final recap with those highlights:
HOOCH Black x Barney’s New York Celebrate Fashion Month
HOOCH Black and Barney’s hosted an exquisite celebration at Fred’s at Barney’s. HOOCH BLACK is an elevated membership that delivers exclusive travel perks, preferred dining, celebrity hosted member events, and special cocktail experiences. It also offers a personal concierge, access to high-end venues and drinks, and a free drink every day at any HOOCH venue. I love the eclectic assortment of experiences and venues that you can discover through this membership! Guests enjoyed pearl-dusted small bites such as fries, mini pizzas, and pink donuts. They also enjoyed chic specialty cocktails. What a sparkling event!
Bettina Werner hosted an opening reception for her art exhibit “Enlivening Red Velvet Heart” at ABXY Gallery. Guests enjoyed prosecco and heart shaped cookies. Bettina used salt crystals in her artwork to showcase salt’s mystical, emotional, and metaphysical qualities, and its essence as a life-source. My favorite pieces include three red hearts, a red framed piece with the word DO, and an “I ♥ NY” piece made with white salt crystals. Each piece is so innovative and mesmerizing!
Limitato debuted its apparel collection at the Hotel On Rivington. The collection features T-shirts, sweatshirts, and blazers that are blended with art and photography. My favorites include a blue velour sweatshirt with black and white photography, a black t-shirt with a purple-themed photograph, a burgundy velvet blazer, and a black t-shirt with green, blue, and grey artwork. I’m so impressed with this artistic collection!
Chromat FW18 After-Party
Chromat hosted its FW18 After-Party at the Mailroom. Guests enjoyed tequila specialty cocktails and listening to current and old school hits at the event. They also got to watch a video of the runway show from earlier in the day. The collection featured bright colors and creative accessories in a range of swimwear, scuba dresses, and baggy pants. It celebrated body positivity, vacation getaways, and community. What an inspiring and fascinating collection!
