Blue Jacket Fashion Show: Standout fashion for a great cause

One of my favorite shows, the Blue Jacket Fashion Show, took place during this past fashion week at Pier59 Studios. The show promoted and benefitted the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF), the world’s leading philanthropic organization dedicated to funding life-saving cancer research. Some of this year’s celebrity models included David Bryne, DJ Envy, Alex Lundqvist, Simon Coonan, Doctor Mike, Nigel Barker, Bill Nye, Jesse Palmer, and many more. Janssen Oncology sponsored the show with participation by Hennessey, Lyft, Saratoga Spring Water Co, and Curious Elixirs, among others. It was also hosted by fashion icon Mr, Andre’ Leon Tally, who brought lots of energy to the runway!

So many jackets on the runway made noticeable statements. However, they’re certainly were some top contenders. My favorites included a dark blue Ralph Behk jacket worn by Lee Tergesen, an ocean blue Hugo Boss suit worn by Young Paris, and a navy floral Nicholas Graham suit worn by Bill Nye. Other participating designers included Kenneth Cole Awareness, Bruno Magli, Hickey Freeman, Ben Sherman, John Varvatos, and more. It was wonderful to see so many inspirational men walk the runway for such a great cause! For more information about PCF, please visit www.pcf.org. Looking forward to next year’s Blue Jacket Fashion Show!
